IKON's ServicePLUS is specifically designed to help ensure that you gain the maximum benefits from your investment in technology.
 Installation and Commissioning of the system
Hassle free connectivity, ensuring that you get connected correctly
We will install the Product at the agreed location. A 'Digital Specification Form' must be completed first in order to make sure we have the correct technical specifications so that we can pre-configure, deliver and install your Product with the minimum disruption.
We will install the Product on site making, making a connection to a designated workstation or network point (and telephone point if a fax module is applicable) within 2 metres of the Product.
 Installation of printer drivers
Making sure that your key users are "plugged-in"... not just the technology
Installation includes loading the software and the drivers onto the workstation or print server, followed by a systems test to ensure that all of its features are working correctly.
Further installations of print drivers on PC's can be arranged as requested at no additional charge, to help your company maximise the use of the investment you have made.
 Installation of associated software
Administrative tools to enhance the management of your devices
We can arrange to carry out installation on the Product of all software that was supplied together with the Product and provided by the manufacturer of the Product. The ServicePLUS does not support any separate third party software applications.
 Configuration of scanning functions
Complete connectivity... allowing you to effortlessly turn paper into electronic documents
We can arrange to carry out the installation and configuration of hardware scan cards where the Product has the appropriate capability. Configuration of drivers to facilitate scanning will be carried out at the time of install, or if preferred at a later time that is mutually agreeable upon your request.
 Training for system administrators / specialists
Providing your Administrators or Key Users with the right tools for the job
Training will be supplied to a dedicated system specialist or key administrator on all aspects of the print driver and associated bundled software. The training duration will last no longer than 3 hours and can not be carried out until the system is commissioned and installed.
The training is designed to assist with the implementation/integration of the system into the business as well as enabling you to give basic training to your own end users.
The training will specifically focus on the system and end user settings, security, access settings and general advice on features and functionality of both the Product and the Software.
 End User training programme
Empowering your End Users to make the best use of technology
We can arrange to carry out End User training sessions following the installation and commissioning of the solution. The session will be carried out by an IKON specialist Technician directly after the Product installation. The focus of the training session will be on both the basic features and functionality of the Product and associated software. This will assist your end users to make effective use of your purchase straight away.
If after the installation you need additional training, we can work with you to tailor a training programme specifically to your requirements.
 Repair or replacement of all connectivity failures
Keeping your critical business technology running!
If at any time the Controller Interface or Fax module should fail, all repairs and/or replacement costs are covered by the IKON ServicePLUS. Repairs covered are inclusive of required parts and labour required in resolving any failures.
Resolution of failures caused as a result of an exclusion specified in term 6.3 of the Service Agreement will be subject to an additional charge.
 Access to the IKON technical support helpdesk
Technical support and professional service is just a phone call away
The IKON ServicePLUS inclusively offers access to the IKON Help Desk (08705 202040) from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and other public holidays.
The IKON Help Desk provides full first line telephone support and fault resolution. Calls which can not be remotely resolved will be immediately escalated to a field technician.
